Transport Malta announces that resurfacing works in Triq San Anard Ħal Tarxien have reached their final phase
According to Transport Malta the resurfacing works in Triq San Anard Ħal Tarxien have reached their final phase, with the road being closed to vehicular traffic between Friday 10th April 2015 at 19:00hrs and Saturday 11th April 2015 at 11:00hrs.
The public is encouraged to avoid this road, follow instructions by the Enforcement Officers on site and observe the temporary road signs.
The company also announced that all vehicular traffic coming from Fgura would be diverted onto Triq il-Karmnu, Triq Tax-Xemx u l-Qamar, Triq id-Dejma, Triq il-Kbira and Triq Tal-Barrani, while vehicular traffic coming from Triq Ħal Tarxien and Triq Tal-Barrani would be diverted onto Bulebel Industrial Estate.
According to the statement, bus route 84 proceeding from Valletta towards Żejtun would be diverted onto Triq tal-Barrani while no service would be provided in Bulebel Industrial Estate. The bus routes of tal-Barrani would be diverted onto Vjal il-25 ta’ Novembru, onto Triq Alfredo Cachia Zammit where the bus service would be available along the road and would follow the normal route towards Żejtun Centre.
Bus Routes 206 and 210 proceeding from Ħal Tarxien towards Żabbar will be diverted onto Triq Palma towards tal-Barrani junction, onto Triq tal-Barrani and will proceed towards Żejtun through Vjal il-25 ta’ Novembru. The bus will proceed to Triq Alfredo Cachia Zammit where the bus service will be available and will follow the normal route towards Żejtun Terminus.
Bus Route 204 proceeding from Ħal Tarxien towards Żabbar will be diverted onto Triq Palma towards tal-Barrani junction, onto Triq tal-Barrani and will proceed towards Żejtun through Vjal il-25 ta’ Novembru. The bus will proceed to Triq Alfredo Cachia Zammit and to Triq taċ-Ċawsli and will follow the normal route towards Żabbar.
Transport Malta added that the same diversions would apply for all the return routes.
