Opposition insists on government intervention to prevent private sector redundancies

The Opposition has called on the government to do its utmost to ensure that the 70 private sector employees facing redundancy would be able to continue earning a living.

In a press statement, the Opposition said it would insist on government intervention, as the previous administration had done, to make sure the employees and their families would not face undue hardships as a result.

“The Opposition will support the retention of these jobs,” the statement reads.
