The newspaper claims that an explosive device that rocked the residence of businessman Sandro Ciliberti in Xaghra on Friday may have been linked to a beach concession in Comino that the contractor was awarded last summer.

The paper claims that the explosion outside Ciliberti’s Xaghra house may have been linked to the contractor’s connections in Libya. Ciliberti, 45, is the owner of Ali-Nibras for Science & Technology, a company set up in Libya in 1991 and based in Tripoli.
