Two drivers injured in traffic accident in Mgarr

Two men were injured, one seriously, and a dog killed in a traffic accident in Mgarr this morning.

Two men were taken to hospital, one in grevious condition, after a traffic accident in Mgarr this morning. A dog was also killed in the crash.

Police were called to Triq Sir Temi Zammit, Mgarr this morning, after a Toyota Tercel driven by a 30-year-old man from Gharb, collided with a Mitsubishi L200 driven by a man, 57, from Xewkija.

The two drivers were taken to hospital. The 57-year-old sustained grevious injuries, while the other driver only had minor injures. A 25-year-old passenger in the Mistubishi did not suffer any injuries.

An animal ambulance was also called to the scene after a dog was hit during the accident. The dog was killed on the spot.
