71 year old man seriously injured in car accident

The man has been taken to hospital after a car accident this morning and is suffering from grievous injuries

A car accident in Birkirkara has left a 71-year-old man from Santa Venera grievously injured.

Police were called to Triq Mannarinu, Birkirkara at 06.45 this morning, after a Toyota Tercel driven by the man collided with a Isuzu van driven by a 23-year-old man from Hal Tarxien.

The man was taken to hospital and is in grievous condition
