23 asylum seekers land at Lampedusa

23 asylum seekers have landed on the Italian island of Lampedusa. 

Among the 23 asylum seekers which landed at Lampedusa this morning there were seven minors.

All claimed to be of Moroccan nationality.

In the next few hours, the asylum seekers will be transferred to Porto Empedocle, where they will be hosted in the Italian Civil Protection tents and expect deportation in the coming days.
