Tottenham close to signing Roma’s Vucinic
Tottenham are reported to being very close of winning the signature of Roma’s Mirko Vucinic in a €17m deal.
On Tuesday Vucinic’s representative claimed that they were in talks with Manchester United and were also very close to finalising a deal.
According to goal.com, Spurs are confident that they can wrap up the deal in the coming days.
Tottenham are reported to be working hard to finalise the deal before their chairman Daniel Levy leaves the country on holiday.
According to goal.com a source has confirmed that Tottenham officials have been in contact with Roma for the past two weeks and the contacts being reported with United are just rumours.
Tottenham are claiming that Vucinic is very interested in moving to Spurs.
Italian giants Juventus were also very close to signing the Roma striker, but know it seems they are concentrating on signing Villareal’s Giuseppe Rossi.
