Former International coach Pietro Ghedin was spotted at the Malta International Airport yesterday evening. Sources told MaltaToday that Ghedin left the airport and was driven in the direction of Ta' Qali.
Pietro Ghedin previously coached the Malta U-21 side between 1992 and 1993 and then was promoted to head coach of the Malta National team. His reign as coach lasted for two years (1993-1995).
Ghedin was at the helm for 24 matches with the International side. During his time as coach, he saw Malta win four, draw five and lose fifteen matches.
At the 2002 World Cup, Ghedin was Giovanni Trapattoni's assistant coach for the Italian National side.
Ghedin is the current coach of the Italian Women's National team.
