This result leaves Birkirkara in second place with Valletta. The Citizens still have a game in hand.

Birkirkara took the lead on the 15th minute when off a corner by Jhonnattann, Nikola Vukanac headed the ball past goalkeeper Tony Warner to give his side the lead.
Floriana managed to get back into the match when they scored the equaliser on the 63rd minute. Off a freekick by Igor Coronoado, Aman Verma headed the ball in past goalkeeper Ini Akpan.
Three minutes later, Birkirkara could have taken the lead, but Jhonnattann effort was denied by the woodwork.
Jhonnattann Benites da Conceicao was voted BOV Player of the Match.
