Tarxien will continue their fight against relegation as they prepare to face Floriana on Saturday at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

The Rainbows have struggled for consistency so far this season having made a top six finish their priority at the beginning of the season.  They have registered just four wins so far however they are now coming from two positive results drawing with Mosta and beating Qormi last week.

Floriana have recently started a consistent form which has pushed them higher up the table with just four points separating them with fourth placed Balzan.  Putting their Cup elimination aside, the greens have managed a serious of positive results in the league with their recent success coming in a 3-1 victory over Mosta.

Floriana will again be without suspended Amadou Samb currently facing a four match ban, however new signing Matthew Calleja Cremona may make his debut in goal after securing a loan move from Pembroke Athleta.  Cremona is also a member of the U/21 National team.

Mid-table Mosta take on leaders Hibernians in an intriguing fixture at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.

Mosta will be hoping to fare much better than in their last outing against Floriana which they lost in a rather disappointing display.  Despite their current sixth place, Mosta have struggled against the sides occupying the higher places with their only win against the top sides coming in the season opener against Valletta.

Leaders Hibernians are still unbeaten this season having drawn just twice in twenty matches against neighbours Tarxien and against rivals Birkirkara last weekend.  Hibernians have undoubtedly the strongest forward line this season and with Mosta well-known for suffering heavy defeats, a big score line in favour of the leaders may well be on the cards.

In-form striker Tarabai is expected to feature against Mosta despite the persistent rumours of a possible move abroad.

Clayton Failla is ruled out through suspension.  Mosta have no suspension problems and should field their best formation for this encounter.
