MFA demanding an apology for damaging and miscalculated comments made by MFPA following the recent case involving St.Georges' Football Club and player Emanuel Sevasta

The Malta Football Association has once again reiterated its’ current stand on the recent case involving Emanuel Sevasta and his club St.Georges’, while expressing its disappointment at the reluctance of the MFPA to issue an apology directed to the FA.

The MFA had declared earlier it was ready to take legal action according to law unless certain allegations about the case and the involvement of its officials were withdrawn.

The Football Association said the recent allegations made by the Player’s Association is unacceptable and expected an apology admitting wrong doings from behalf the members of the Player’s Association done purely to damage and neglect the reputation of the FA.

The MFA said it would no longer be dealing with any more requests from the MFPA and suspended with immediate effect any form of communication with any members from the association until a formal public apology admitting misjudged allegations towards the FA is made.
