Birkirkara registered their first win of the season after beating Mosta 2-0.

Birkirkara broke the deadlock on the 73rd minute. Ernest Nfor was brought down inside the penalty area and the referee ordered a penalty. From the eleven metres mark, the same player converted and sent his side ahead.

The stripes sealed the issue on the 84th minute. Nfor served Matthew Guillaumier and the substitute hit a stunning shot that gave Andreas Vella no chance.

Two minutes from time, Mosta ended up in ten men after Kurt Magro was shown his second yellow card.
