Valletta went ahead after twelve minutes. Claudio Pani sent a cross into the path of Mifsud whose powerful shot gave Philip Schranz no chance.

Zoran Popovic’s side doubled the score on the 31st minute. From a corner, Ibrahim Saleh sent a cross that was met by Nwoko who headed home.

Valletta made it 3-0 on the 62nd minute. Saleh went past Mulemo Landry before delivering the ball towards Dos Santos. The Valletta striker kept his composure and placed the ball inside the net.
