The Wanderers broke the deadlock after 27 minutes. Ryan Fenech’s cross went into the path of Younes Marzouk who headed the ball past Andreas Vella.

Sliema added another on the 35th minute. Marzouk’s delivery fell for Kurt Shaw who placed the ball inside the net.

Marzouk sealed the issue for Sliema three minutes from the time. The French striker sent a thumping shot that gave Vella no chance.

Mosta scored a consolation goal on the 90th minute. From a free-kick, Rafael Morsico’s thumping volley ended up inside the net.
