Snooker: National Masters League organised by the MBSA
Alex Bog who plays for Juventutis Domus of Żejtun won the National Masters League (over 40) of snooker organised by the Malta Billiards & Snooker Association.

During the final match, he registered a 5-1 win against Simon Zammit of Jesmond Sporting Club. This match was played at the Pinto Band Club in Qormi and was controlled by Ivan Brincat.
It was Borg who won the first four frames in which he registered brakes of 50, 51, 53 and 56 to build a 4-0 advantage. After the break, Zammit won the fifth frame with a break of 69 points. However, Borg won the following frame for a 5-1 score.
National Billiards League 2016 / 2017 organised by the MBSA
Joe Agius won the National Billiards League organised by the Malta Billiards & Snooker Association after beating Brian Cardona 464-322 during Thursday’s final. The final match was played on a time interval of two and a half hours and was controlled by Frans Bugeja.
