Motorcyclist seriously injured in Mellieħa accident

A 40-year-old motorcyclist suffered serious injuries after colliding with a Toyota Rav4 on Friday at around 10:15am.

Police immediately went to the scene on Triq Qasam Barrani in Mellieħa where the collision occured between a Next Mojito motorcycle driven by the man and a 57-year-old woman from Mellieħa.

The man was treated by a medical team and rushed to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to have suffered serious injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
