Smiles all around for Tiffany Pisani

Tiffany Pisani has made it through to the next round on last Monday’s episode of Britain’s Next Top Model, after wowing the judges with her smile and laugh in a yellow Melissa Odabash bikini and straw cowboy hat.

The models were visited by pop artist Alesha Dixon, and took part in a challenge in which they had to sell pieces from her jewellery line on live TV. Tiffany, 18, said about the challenge “I am going to try do my best.” The judges appeared to take a liking to her, but the challenge was won by model Charlotte Holmes.

For this week’s photo shoot, the models were whisked off to Spain to be photographed wearing swim wear by designer Melissa Odabash. The famous designer, whose 1998 zebra-print bikini became the best-selling item on Victoria’s Secret’s catalogue, assisted the girls throughout the shoot along with the photographer.

Tiffany was wearing a bright yellow bikini and straw cowboy hat, and smiled throughout the entire photo shoot, showing a different side to her usually serious face. “She really listens and gets it when you tell her to laugh…she needs to work on making her laugh more natural,” Odabash said about Tiffany’s performance.

Before the weekly panel of judges, Tiffany received praise from the swim wear designer herself, saying “She was a pleasure to work with.” Fashion stylist and judge Grace Woodward jokingly told the Maltese model “ride ‘em cowgirl!”

While evaluating the models’ photos during deliberation, Julian McDonald said “I’m bored of Tiffany….not much behind the face and smile.” Odabash also said she doesn’t “have a broad market.”

The talented local was called out fourth to continue in the competition. This week’s episode saw contestant Amba Hudson-Skye eliminated, leaving eight hopeful models to continue chasing the title of Britain’s Next Top Model. The next episode will be aired next Monday on LivingTV at 10.00pm.
