Cinemas go kid-friendly this Saturday

The next edition of the bi-annual Children Cinema Day will be held this Saturday in cinemas across Malta and Gozo.

The 20 films selected for the 23rd edition of this twice-yearly event feature a variety of genres ranging from animation fantasy, action comedies, fantasy adventures, comedies, war history drama, adventure family drama  and action thrillers. All the films carry either a PG or U classification, with the exception of one - The Vow - which is rated 12.

Reduced prices of admission of €2.50 for children and €4 for accompanying adults will be charged at all shows starting at 09:00 and running until 19:00.

There will be a slight increase in the price of 3D films for both children and adults.

Film shows at the two-screen Citadel Cinema in Gozo will be at 16:00 and 18:00.
