Discount films during Children's Cinema Day

A generous selection of recent blockbuster hits will be shown across cinemas in Malta and Gozo at a reduced price on September 1.

The next edition of the Children's Cinema Festival will take place in all of the prominent cinemas in Malta and Gozo on September 1.

On the day, screenings will start at 09:00 and run until 19:00. Film shows at the Citadel in Gozo will be at 15:45 and 18:15.

The 16 specially selected films to be screened include a variety of genres aimed at attracting not only kids, but also families.

Tickets will be priced at €2.50 for children and €4 for accompanying adults. 

There will be a slight increase in the price for 3D films.

Step Up 4:  Miami Heat (3D), Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days, Brave (3D), Red Tails, Dr Seuss's The Lorax, The Dark Knight Rises, Snow White and the Huntsman, Ice Age 4:  Continental Drift (3D), The Amazing Spider-Man, Men In Black III, Battleship, Marvel Avengers Assemble, The Hunger Games, Mirror Mirror, The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists, We Bought A Zoo.

Early booking is recommended to be made in all of the participating cinemas.
