Yes, you read that right.
Former Bond girl Gemma Arerton and Avengers member Jeremy Renner take to the covens with their anachronistic weaponry in the latest 'remix' of a classic fairy tale.
No witch is safe.
In the latest addition to the growing trend of 'gritty' versions of children's stories, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arerton) are bounty hunters with a penchant for the supernatural.
But when a witch that packs more power than they're ready for begins to stalk through the forests, the sibling duo are forced to resort to desperate measures (which, judging from the trailer, involves a great deal of clearly not-medieval weaponry).
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters certainly has something of the recently-released Snow White and the Huntsman to its dark-n-violent sheen, but it also recalls another piece of gleefully historically-unfaithful supernatural shoot 'em up - Van Helsing.
