Throughout the course of the month - until 22 June - Kinemastik's Creative Director Slavko Vukanovic, Artistic Director Sandra Banthorpe and photographer Ali Tollervey will be touring Europe organising open air film screenings, photography exhibtions and a musical event. So far, the team has visited Skopje, Macedonia on 5 June and Sremska Mitrovica, Novi Sad and Belgrade in Serbia over 8 to 10 June.

The tour will go on with stopovers to Bucharest, Romania (15 June), Chisinau, Moldova (19 June) and finally Odessa, Ukraine on 22 June.

Known for their midweekly film screenings - currently taking place on Wednesdays at The British Legion Bar, Valletta - and their International Short Film Festival, this year set for 26-27 July, Kinemastik is now in its ninth year of operations. As an NGO, it has established collaborative relationships with numerous international film festivals and cultural organisations, including Berlin Film Festival, Milano Film Festival, Clermond Ferrand, London Short Film Festival,

European Film Academy, and Barcelona Film University, as well as many artist collectives such as Le Gun and Bare Bones.

Kinemastik has also toured its program extensively throughout Europe, and in Asia.

The tour is supported by the Malta Arts Fund. For more information log on to Kinemastik's official website or Tumblr page, or 'Like' their page on Facebook.
