[WATCH] Dreaming of the Maltese xarabank

Bus Terminus, by Duncan Bone, Emma Mattei and Harry Malt, refreshes viewers' memories of an old system of public transport that evoked both nostalgia and anger for commuters and politicians.

On the eve of the transition to a new private operator, Bus Terminus captures the people behind the wheel of Malta's most colourful relic: the xarabank.

Just two years since the transition to a new operator, Malta has nationalised its bus service, and is now planning to find a successor to the maligned Arriva company.
