Winter Moods co-founder Steve Caruana Smith has passed away, the group said in their Facebook page.
Winter Moods co-founder Steve Caruana Smith, is-Serp.
Maltese rock band Winter Moods announced the death of its co-founder Steve Caruana Smith, 51, late this evening on its Facebook page.
Caruana Smith, fondly known as is-Serp, was also a guitarist.
"It is with deep regret and profound sadness that we inform you of the passing of Winter Moods' co-founder, former guitarist and friend/brother Steve Caruana Smith (Serp). May he rest in music and in peace. You will be missed Steve. Far away but close in us... always," the group said.

I still remember meeting Steve, almost every Saturday night about 10 years ago, in a restaurant in the south of Malta. I was always looking forward to have a chat with him on rock music! Very sad news indeed. Rest in peace my friend, where ever you are.
