"With the rapid evolution of mobile technology, including Smartphones, entrepreneurs are realising that investing in innovative marketing tools such as an app software is vital and beneficial to keep potential customers updated on any developments or events.

"One of the advantages of investing in an apps software is that it's a branding and marketing tool in itself and is designed to suit any specific market need, helping promote any activity within a business or community, even non-profit organisations such as parish churches to keep their congregations together."

Tracy Mann, SassyApps Enterprises, managing director, was speaking at the launch of SassyApps' cutting-edge Apple application at Hugo's Lounge, Paceville held today.

"Alongside our US-based service provider, GoMobile Solutions plc, we design, host and service your app, which is created specifically with your business in mind.

"SassyEnterprises is constantly delivering affordable, user-friendly, and effective point of sale tools within reach of small- and medium-sized enterprises."

Nationalist Party whip David Agius, who was present during the launch, said that investing in such an app "would help him stay close to his constituents".

"With a touch of a button, my constituents can contact me directly, remain updated on any forthcoming events and activities I will be present at. This is an innovative way in staying in touch."

Agius, the first MP to have invested in the app, hoped that other MPs would follow suit after launching his own app 'David Agius Malta'.

The app may be downloaded from iTunes or Google Play.

Besides Agius, Hugo's Malta and The Villa Malta have also invested in the software.

Isaac Chetcuti of Hugo's Lounge, said that the "app is essential in promoting events held at any of Hugo's Malta establishments".
