Corinthia celebrate St George’s Day with Michelin star chef Garry Hollihead

Corinthia group celebrated St George’s Day yesterday, 23 April, with an evening of fine English food and fare at Grill3301 in St George’s Bay.

Garry Hollihead, three time Michelin star chef at the Corinthia Hotel London, and who specialises in classic English food, planned a five course menu and flew over to Malta to supervise the one off event.

The occasion was a fun-filled, traditional English flag waving atmosphere that will included excellent food and free flowing wine and beer throughout the evening.

Stuart Chappell, General Manager at Corinthia Hotel St.George's Bay, said "it is about time that St Georges's Day had an action packed event built around it that everyone can enjoy and experience. With our wonderful position overlooking St.George's Bay it was only natural that we should host this unique event."

During the event entertainment activities were held throughout the evening with proceeds going to Dar Il Kaptan.
