A 28-year-old woman was fined €600 after admitting to falsifying a COVID-19 vaccine certificate.

Astrain Moreno Ines from Spain was caught using a fake vaccine certificate to exit the country and charged in court by immigration officer Inspector Hubert Gerada.

Assisted by legal aid lawyer Charmaine Cherret, she admitted the charges and was fined by the court.
