Man suffers grievous injuries after being hit by motorcycle

A 57-year-old man suffered grievous injuries after being hit by a motorcycle in Nadur on Tuesday.

At around 8pm, the police were notified about an accident between the man and a Malaguti motorcycle driver by a 30-year-old woman from Xagħra.

A medical team was immediately called to the scene and an ambulance rushed the man to the Gozo General Hospital for treatment where he was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries.

Police investigations are ongoing.
