Diver dies in Gozo
A German diver dies in Mgarr ix-Xini after facing difficulties during dive.

A 55-year-old diver died in Mgarr ix-Xini, Gozo.
A German national died this morning after finding himself in difficulty while diving in Mgarr ix-Xini.
The police was informed about the incident at around 10:40am and the 55-year-old diver was then rushed by ambulance to the Gozo General Hospital where he died some time later.

Dreadful news but sadly not an unique scenario.How many divers have perished in our waters in say the past two(2) years and why do we never hear any conclusions as to the root cause of such tragic fatalities?
