Motorcyclist grievously injured in traffic accident

A 22-year-old motorcyclist was grievously injured yesterday following a collision with a car in Qormi.

The motorcyclist, an Mgarr resident driving a Honda, was involved in a collision in Luqa Road, Qormi with a 24-year-old man, resident of Qrendi, who was driving a Skoda. The accident took place at around 6pm.

The 22-year-old was taken to Mater Dei for medical treatment.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
