Man grievously injured in Zurrieq roof collapse

A man has been grievously injured after the roof of a residence he was working in collapsed, causing him to fall through.

The incident, which took place at about 9:00am on Sqaq San Kristofru, Zurrieq, led to a medical team and members of the Civil Protection Department being called on the scene.

The man, 35, of Zurrieq, was hospitalised and said to be suffering from grievous injuries.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
