Man injured after falling from scaffolding

A man has sustained severe injuries after he fell off a scaffolding while conducting works in a Valletta band club on Wednesday.

The incident occurred at 9:30am in Republic Street.

The police said that upon investigation it was revealed that the 52-year-old resident of Valletta was injured when he fell off a one storey high scaffolding.

An ambulance took the man to Mater Dei hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are still ongoing.
