Elderly man serious injured in fall

A 75-year-old man was badly hurt on Sunday morning, after he fell around one and a half storeys while he was carrying out work at a residence.

The police said the incident happened at 9.45am at a house in Triq Hal Kirkop, Imqabba.

The injured man, who is also from Imqabba, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment, where his injuries were determined to be serious in nature.

Police investigations are ongoing.
