Man grievously injured in Mosta crash

A 64-year-old Attard man was grievously injured in a traffic collision last night.

In a statement, the police said the accident took place on Triq il Kungress Ewkaristiku in Mosta, yesterday at roughly 9.30pm.

The police said a collision between an Opel Astra being driven by a 20-year-old man from Swieqi and a BMW730D being driven by a 64-year-old man who also resides in Attard, had taken place.

A 63-year-old woman was also in the BMW.

A medical team was dispatched and the driver of the BMW was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for treatment.
