Teenager seriously injured in Gozo traffic accident

A 17-year-old French national was seriously injured on Saturday, after he was run over by a car in Gozo.

The police said that accident happened in Triq l-Gharb in Ghasri, with the teenager having been hit by a car driven by a 41-year-old man from Xaghra.

The victim was taken to Gozo General Hospital for treatment.

Police investigations are ongoing.
