Boy, 13, seriously injured in go-kart crash

A 13 year-old boy has been seriously injured in a go-karting accident in Mosta this morning.

The youth was hurt when his go-kart hit a tyre wall at around 1230am at a racing track in Triq Durumblat.

He was taken to Mater Dei hospital by ambulance where he was certified as suffering from serious injuries.

The police are investigating.
