These are the Labour candidates vying for a parliamentary seat in casual elections

The Electoral Commission has published the list of Labour candidates competing in the casual elections on Friday for seats vacated by Labour MPs elected on two districts.

The commission received 47 nominations for the eight seats vacated by Robert Abela, Chris Fearne, Ian Borg, Clyde Caruana, Michael Falzon, Clifton Grima, Miriam Dalli and Jonathan Attard. Casual elections will be held on the 2, 3, 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 districts. There will be two casual elections on the 9 District which was vacated by both Falzon and Grima.

The casual elections will be held at the Naxxar Counting Complex on Friday at 9am.
