Man in serious condition after diving incident

A 62-year-old British man is in serious condition following a diving incident in Cirkewwa.

The incident occurred at 3:30pm.

Police said the man found himself in difficulty while diving and was pulled shore by other drivers.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital for further treatment.

Magistrate Natasha Galea Sciberras has been appointed to the inquiry.
