KM Malta Airlines introduces self-service lost baggage tracker
The new self-service will allow passengers to track updates on their lost baggage
KM Malta airline has launched the WorldTracer Self Service (WTSS) to allow passengers to track real-time updates on their baggage.
Passengers who file a baggage report will be allowed to access a dedicated link to get the latest information and updates about their baggage directly.
According to KM Malta Airlines, “when a baggage report is created by the airport team, travellers can monitor the status updates, including when their bag is located and delivered.”
They also said that passengers using Apple devices with AirTags can also benefit from the Find My feature, “offering more precise baggage tracking through Apple’s integrated network.”
They highlighted that this provides greater visibility and reassurance while travelling.
WTSS also said that the system is fully integrated with KM Malta Airlines’ baggage management operations, ensuring that both passengers and operational teams have access to the same real-time information.
They highlighted that allowing passengers to manage their own baggage reports will reduce follow-up emails, improve data accuracy and create more efficient communication between passengers and airport staff.
They both concluded that this initiative reflects the airlines commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, which will further strengthen its focus on delivering a stress-free travel experience for all passengers.
