On day 2 of the electoral campaign, the Nationalist Party quietly released a set of proposals without media presence.

According to PN media house Net News, party leader Alex Borg announced the proposals when he visited Maritime MT, a company which offers training for maritime workers.

Here, Borg announced that a PN government would ensure that students in secondary education are offered maritime-related courses.

He also promised that Maritime MT’s students would be given a proper stipend, and that the school would collaborate with MCAST so the two could share resources.

The Opposition Leader pledged to divide Transport Malta into three authorities governing land, sea, and air. Borg also promised to “strengthen the maritime sector through AI, LNG, green fuels, and digital shipping,” Net reports.

This is the second batch of proposals released by the PN.

The first set of proposals were announced during a mass rally on Tuesday evening. There were no other opportunities for the media to quiz Borg since the first proposals were announced, and so far, it seems as though journalists won’t get that chance on Wednesday either.
