ARMS announces new online form service
ARMS Chief Executive George Azzopardi says that a number of other applications will be accessible digitally in the coming weeks
The Automated Revenue Management Services (ARMS) announced an online service which will allow forms to be filled in and submitted online as part of a broader digitalisation strategy.
ARMS Chief Executive George Azzopardi added that a number of other applications will be accessible digitally in the coming weeks, while mentioning the extension of further services on ARMS’ online portal with a new ChatBot added to assist clients in navigating the website. He also explained ARMS has been working to convert its archive into digital form with 40,000 files processed so far, enabling employees to access information digitally.
Azzopardi explained that the company receives around 35,000 applications each year, highlighting the need to modernise the process. This prompted efforts to modernise the system, ultimately resulting in the launch of Form H as an e-Form. “The idea of a digital transition in ARMS was very much needed,” Azzopradi said. “We are committed to continuing to work towards a more modern and efficient service for our clients.”
Speaking on behalf of the Malta 2050 Vision team, Aleandra Muscat explained that one of the main goals of the vision is for all key government services to be carried out completely online by 2035.
“The launch of these new services by ARMS is not only an investment in technology, but an investment in time and in the quality of life of families and businesses. This is a clear example of how the Malta 2050 Vision wants to reduce bureaucracy and make services more accessible to citizens,” Muscat concluded.
