Ivorian jailed for using friend’s passport

Four months in prison for using someone else’s passport to leave island.

An Ivorian man was jailed for four months after admitting to having attempted to leave Malta using a passport which was not his.

Moussa Taloba Amadu, 23 was charged before Magistrate Antonio Mizzi for attempting to leave Malta for Rome with an Italian passport which belonged to a friend of his.

Amadu was also charged with having provided false details to an immigration officer, and of being a relapser.
