A man has died at Ramla l-Hamra, limits of Nadur, Gozo, after efforts by Emergency Response and Rescue Corps members to resuscitate him failed
A 42-year-old man from Xaghra who encountered difficulty while swimming at Ramla l-Hamra bay in Nadur, Gozo, has died despite efforts by members of the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps who scrambled to the scene to administer first-aid.
The man's lifeless body was brought ashore. The incident happened around 6pm.
Duty magistrate J. Demicoli appointed various experts to assist in the inquiry. Police are investigating.
