Two men no longer in danger of dying

The condition of two men who had been in grievous condition after two separate traffic accidents that took place at Mdina Road, Zebbug, and Salini Road, Naxxar had improved over the past few days and were no longer on the danger list, a police statement has announced.

The first traffic accident had taken place on 5 June 2010 when a 48-year old man hailing from Dingli, who was driving a Peugeot had been hospitalised in critical condition after colliding head-on with another Peugeot driven by 58-year-old man hailing from Qormi, who suffered serious injures.

The second traffic accident had taken place on 18 June 2010 at 10.30 am, when an unidentified foreign driver who was driving a Daewoo Cielo had also been hospitalized in critical condition after a head-on collision with a Ford Transit driven by a 46-year-old man hailing from St Paul’s Bay.
