A number of creditors, ranging from media companies and advertisers to landlords and the Bank of Valletta, have filed claims in the bankruptcy proceedings of Jonathan Pace, who was murdered last August. The 24 creditors are claiming a total of €2 million from the Zejtun butcher's bankruptcy curators.

The Gaffarena expropriation scandal is just the tip of the iceberg, according to Opposition leader Simon Busuttil. Speaking during a radio interview, Busuttil said the case only scratches the surface of the government's corruption.
