Two men seriously injured on Zebbug construction site

Two Hal Qormi residents were seriously injured at a construction site in Zebbug, Police have said.

The 23-year old and 30-year old were reportedly injured by falling stones from the balcony and the construction shoot falling on their bodies. Police went on site on Triq Andrea Bogdan in Haz-Zebbug.

An ambulance transported both men to Mater Dei Hospital where they were certified to be suffering from serious injuries.

Magistrate Francesco Depasquale opened an inquiry and hired several experts to assist him.

Police investigations are ongoing.
