Spaghetti with Maltese sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 Maltese sausages, skinned
  • 400g tinned tomatoes
  • 2 tubs fresh cream
  • 1 gbejna
  • Handful parsley, chopped
  • 500g spaghetti

Method

  1. Start by frying the onion until translucent.
  2. Add the garlic, the add the Maltese sausage and fry until the meat is cooked through
  3. Add the tomato sauce and turn the heat to low. 
  4. Simmer for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Add the cream and chopped gbejna.
  6. Boil the spaghetti until al dente.
  7. Mix the sauce and the pasta.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and pieces of chopped gbejna
