This past week, local football clubs have been very busy on the transfer market.

Hiberians FC: defender Diego Douglas Balbinos and Edison Luis dos Santos.

27-year old Brazilian Balbinot will surely help Hibernians with his vast experience. He has played in countries such as Brazil, Hong, Kong and Hungry.

Edison Luis dos Santos is not a new name on the local football scene. He arrives at Hibernians after playing one season with Vittoriosa Stars.

Hamrun Spartans: striker Anderson Mendes Ribeiro.

Ribeiro returns to Malta after playing for Metalurh Zaporizhya in Ukraine last season. Ribeiro played for Tarxien Rainbows in the 2009/10 season.

Goalkeeper Omar Borg is expected to extend his loan deal with Hamrun from Birkirkara for another season.
