Manchester United put seven past Blackburn

It was a day to remember for Manchester United’s Berbatov as out of the seven goals United scored against Blackburn, five of them belonged to striker Berbatov. Manchester went on to defeat Blackburn 7-1.

This win for United puts them on top of the Barclays Premier League standings and adds pressure on champions Chelsea. Berbatov is now in a class of his own as he is now only the fourth player in the Premier Leagues history to score five goals in a match. Berbatov scored on the 2nd , 27th , 47th , 62nd and 70th minute as Park Ji-Sung scored on the 23rd and Nani scored on the 48th minute. Arsenal are back to winning ways after a horrible week. Arsenal defeated Aston Villa 4-2. Arsenal opened the score on the 39th minute thanks to Andrei Arshavin. Samir Nasri made it 2-0 on the 45th minute. Aston Villa started to fight back as Ciaran Clark made it 2-1 on the 52nd minute. Arsenal did not sit back this time around and they protected their lead. Marouane Chamakh put Arsenal back in charge of the match to make it 3-1 on the 56th minute. Aston Villa did not want to give up as Clark got his second of the match to make it 3-2. Jack Wilshere put the match out of reach for Villa as he made it 4-2 on the 90th minute. In other games: Bolton and Blackpool played to a 2-2 draw. Everton were defeated by West Brom 4-1. Fulham and Birminghan had to share the spoils with a 1-1 draw. Roberto Mancini’s Manchester City were held by Stoke City, and had to be happy with a point as the match ended 1-1. West Ham defeated Wigan 3-1 as Wolves defeated Sunderland 3-2.
