After the world No. 1 received treatment he managed to defeat Juan Martin del Porto 7-6(6) 3-6 7-6(4) 6-4.

Nadal will now play against American Mardy Fish.

Roger Federer came back from behind to defeat Mikhail Youzhny. The No. 3 claimed his 100th career victory on grass and reached his 29^th consecutive grand slam quarter-final.

Federer defeated Youzhny 6-7(5) 6-3 6-3 6-3. Federer will not take on Jo-Wilfred Tsonga.
