Sharapova to meet Kvitova in Wimbledon final

Maria Sharapova had to work hard to defeat Sabine Lisicki to reach the final of Wimbledon.

This will be Sharapova’s first grand slam final in over three years.

Sharapova defeated Lisicki 6-4 6-3.

Fifth seed Sharapova won her first title at the All England Club as a 17-year-old seven years ago.

Sharapova will now meet eighth seed Petra Kivitova in the final.

This will be the first grand slam final for Kivitiva who defeated Victoria Azarenka.
